Geert Klok is deputy General Manager at GK Ancuabe Graphite Mine, a subsidiary of AMG/Graphit Kropfmühl. Geert has played a key role in the rehabilitation and reopening of the company’s Ancuabe mine. This graphite mine in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique started production in May of 2017. It is the first graphite mining operation in Mozambique.

Geert is also an entrepreneur having co-founded a legal consulting firm and a fire protection business. Geert has been living and working in Mozambique for over ten years. Before coming to Mozambique, Geert managed a Dutch/American R&D company focusing on high tech refrigeration technology.

Geert graduated with a masters’ degree in Business Economics from the University of Groningen and holds an LL.M in Business Law from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

His main focus currently is the rehabilitation and re-opening of the Ancuabe graphite mine in northern Mozambique. Geert is also an entrepreneur having cofounded a Mozambican legal consulting
firm, specializing in mining and real estate and a fire protection business, headquartered in Maputo. Geert has been living and working in Mozambique for over ten years.
