PR MMEC 2022 – The President of Mozambique confirms his participation in the 8th MMEC.

His Excellency Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, President of the Republic of Mozambique confirms his participation in the Opening Ceremony of the 8th Mozambique Mining, Oil & Gas and Energy Conference.

The Joaquim Chissano Conference Centre will host the 8th edition of the biennial event on Mining, Oil, Gas and Energy of Mozambique, which will take place in June 2022. The conference is held under the theme Sustainable Development Across the Entire Mineral and Energy Value Chain, towards a Low Carbon Future. MMEC is the most successful industrial exhibition in Mozambique and is estimated to attract participants from over 30 countries. The 2021 edition took place under hybrid format and was officially opened by His Excellency Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, President of the Republic of Mozambique and Honorable Ernesto Max Tonela, Minister of Mineral Resources & Energy, Republic of Mozambique, the 2022 edition will be once again opened for government officials.

MMEC is a biennial international comprehensive event covering the entire extractive industry with key objectives of promoting investments in these sectors; sharing knowledge and experiences; advancing partnerships; hear from key policy makers from regional and international partner organisations. Endorsed by ENH – Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos E.P, MMEC 2022 Conference & Exhibition will also have the participation of Ministers, Senior Directors of governmental companies, strategic development partners, operators from the oil & gas, mining, and energy sectors. MMEC also counts with the participation of institutional investors and service providers with whom the other attendees will be able to interact, share trends, exchange contacts, and establish the largest commercial partnerships.
