Portuguese citizen, has been living in Angola for 18 years. Former University Professor, Luis Monteiro was also a co-founder of Rio Branco Diamantes, an Angolan exploitation diamond mining company, created in 2017. Rio Branco’s first diamond mine was the Moquita cooperative mine, near Lucapa. Luis Monteiro was directly engaged in all the Moquita mining operations and actively contributed to the first Angolan diamond mining cooperative turning into a mining project.Later he was directly involved in the Cacuilo diamond mining contract signed in 2021 between Rio Branco, Endiama and other Angolan companies. Shareholder and Administrator of Rio Branco Diamantes, he’s the head of legal, international and commercial departments of the company.
