José Manso Urbano

José Manso Urbano, Mining Engineer since 1997 and Master (MSc) in Geological and Mining Engineering.

He began his career in granite aggregate quarries in Portugal and evolved in the world of mining from Drill & Blast Engineer to Senior Mining Production Manager positions and worked on several coal and zinc exploration projects in South Africa, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

He currently works in Angola as a Mine Manager at Furi Mining Society in the diamond sector.

Also experienced in civil excavation projects in dams (Laúca and Cambambe in Angola) and in port and ocean terminal construction projects in Ghana.
